Slack alert for SQL queries
Slack Alerts allow you to receive notifications directly in your Slack channel whenever your query results update or based on a schedule. This helps teams monitor important metrics without constantly checking dashboards.
How to Create a Slack Alert
Follow these steps to create a Slack alert:

Click Create Slack Alert to set up a new notification.

Select the Slack channel that should receive the alerts.

Click Send Test Notification to verify that the Slack alert works correctly.

Select the Query that you want to monitor.

Provide an Alert Name and an optional Description for easy identification.

Choose how the Slack alert should be triggered:
- Send alert at a specific time
- Send alert at a periodic interval

If using specific time alerts, select the weekdays and time when the alert should run.

If using periodic interval alerts, select the interval frequency such as 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.

Enable Send alert only on data change if you want to receive notifications only when the query result changes.

Click Create to finalize and save your Slack alert.

Your Slack alert is now active and will notify the selected Slack channel.
