Find your Snowflake credentials to connect with Draxlr

To connect Snowflake to Draxlr, you need your account URL (host), a user and password, and the warehouse and database to query.

Find Your Credentials

1: Copy Your Account URL

In Snowsight, click your account menu in the bottom-left corner, hover over your account, and select View account details.

The Account/Server URL looks like:

abc12345.us-east-1.snowflakecomputing.com

This is the host you connect to. The account identifier is the part before .snowflakecomputing.com.

2: Get a User and Password

Use your Snowflake login, or create a dedicated user under Admin → Users & Roles → + User.

Make sure the user's role has USAGE on the warehouse and database, and SELECT on the tables you want to query.

3: Note the Warehouse and Database

  • Warehouse: listed under Admin → Warehouses—this runs your queries.
  • Database: listed under Data → Databases.

Allow Draxlr's IP Address

Snowflake accepts connections from anywhere unless a network policy is active. If your account uses one, go to Admin → Security → Network Policies and add 54.205.255.226 to the allowed IP list.

Connect in Draxlr

Go to Add Database, select Snowflake, and enter the credentials above. See the Setup guide for the full connection flow.
