Dashboard > Email Schedules

Schedule dashboard summaries with custom recipients and filters.

This guide explains how to create Email Schedules for dashboards in Draxlr, allowing you to automatically send dashboard snapshots to a list of recipients on a recurring schedule.

Create an Email Schedule for a Dashboard

Email Schedules let you send dashboard snapshots as PDFs to specific recipients at a set interval. Each schedule has its own email list and can have pre-applied filters.

1: Open Share Dashboard

Navigate to the dashboard you want to share and click the Share Dashboard button in the top right corner.

This opens the Share Dashboard modal.

2: Go to Email Schedules

Click the Email Schedules tab in the modal.

Then click New email schedule to begin setting one up.

3: Enter a Name for the Schedule

Provide a clear and descriptive name for your email schedule.

This helps you identify the purpose of the schedule later, especially if you create multiple schedules for the same dashboard.

4: Add Recipients

In the Emails field, search for or add the email addresses of the people who should receive this schedule.

Each schedule has its own email list, so different schedules can go to different recipients.

5: Set the Schedule Interval and Time

Choose how often the dashboard snapshot should be sent using the Interval dropdown. Options include Daily and Weekly.

  • Daily schedules are sent every day at the selected time.
  • Weekly schedules are sent every Monday at the selected time.

Set the Time at which the PDF should be sent.

6: Include Dashboard URL (Optional)

Toggle Include Dashboard URL to include a link to the live dashboard in the email.

This allows recipients to open the full dashboard directly from the email.

7: Apply Filters (Optional)

You can pre-apply dashboard filters for this schedule using the Dashboard Filters section.

These filters will be applied to the snapshot sent in this schedule. Different schedules on the same dashboard can have different filters applied.

8: Show Applied Filters in PDF (Optional)

Toggle Show applied filters in PDF to display the active filter values in the PDF snapshot that recipients receive.

This is useful when sharing filtered reports so recipients know which filters were applied.

9: Create the Schedule

Click the Create button to save and activate the email schedule.

Draxlr will begin sending the dashboard snapshot as a PDF to all recipients at the configured interval and time.
