How to Create a New Dashboard in Draxlr?

Draxlr makes it easy to set up a new dashboard for your analytics and reporting needs.

How to create a new Dashboard?

1. Open Dashboard Switcher

  • Click on Switch Dashboard at the top of the page.
  • You can also use the keyboard shortcut S to quickly open the dashboard switcher.

2. Create a New Dashboard

  • Click on Create New Dashboard.
  • Enter a name for your new dashboard in the dialog that appears.

3. (Optional) Enable Global Dashboard

  • Enable the Global Dashboard toggle if you want to add visualizations from multiple databases to this dashboard.
  • Global dashboards are useful for cross-database reporting.

4. Finalize and Create

  • Press the Create button to set up your new dashboard.

5. Start Adding Elements

  • Your new dashboard is ready!
  • You can now add charts, tables, KPIs, or use Draxlr AI to bring your data to life.

Next Steps

  • Click Add Dashboard Element to start building your dashboard with visualizations.
  • Use Explore Tables to analyze your data before pinning insights to the dashboard.
  • Ask questions using Ask Draxlr AI for quick insights or to build charts automatically.

Tip

You can create multiple dashboards for different projects, teams, or reporting needs, and switch between them anytime using the Switch Dashboard menu.
